Frozen Whole Sea Snails In Shell
Whole sea snails in heavy spiral shells, patterned with brown and cream blotches and a band of blunt knobs along the shoulder. The lip is flared and cream, and the dark, glossy meat sits in the opening. They are shown four at a time on a stone slab, in and around a white bowl at a kitchen sink, and six together on a wooden board with a knife and tongs behind.
The meat is firm with a sweet, briny finish. Steam or simmer them briefly and serve with a dipping sauce, or warm them through with garlic, chilli and spring onion.

Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Thaw in the refrigerator and cook thoroughly before eating.
